G is for Good Vibrations — Andy Henry Studio A-Z

G is for Good Vibrations. While going through my project archive, I realised that I’ve got a favourite project for every letter of the alphabet.

As Head of Design at Belfast Agency Big Motive, Henry was delighted to design motion graphic contributions to the critically acclaimed film Good Vibrations.

Working under directors Glenn Leyburn and Lisa Barros D'sa, Henry’s graphic contributions followed the Director’s meticulous attention to detail and capture the spirit of 1970-80s punk scene in Belfast.

By manually typesetting and photographing all title card frames we referenced Hooley's own badges, posters and record sleeves, and stayed true to the 'cut and paste' techniques of the era.
